I have been spending a few hours each month gradually sorting through my very many belongings, in particular everything to do with my past business of painting on silk. I recently came across a box with some unfinished silk paintings in it. Wondering what to do with them, as I am not able to finish the paintings, I decided to share them.
I also had two large framed paintings that I planned to auction off at some point.
In many ways this collection of the art work I did prior to 2009 is my pension and so some thought has had to go into just how I share them and with whom!
I am very blessed with everything that I have at the moment and when I used to earn a living from my paintings, they were often at a price my friends and neighbours couldn’t afford. I have therefore decided to auction this collection as a form of ‘Barter’ or ‘trade’.
Below is my ‘wish list’. It’s a collection of treats and items that I would like. They would give me joy, make my life easier or assist me in my studies as a medical herbalist.
I have also listed all of the paintings with their state,(framed, unfinished, mounted etc) and measurements.
The plan is that if you would like one of my paintings, make me an offer. Maybe you have something that you think I would like that I haven’t listed. Send me a message on the contact form below and the offers I like will be exchanged for the paintings selected. Each painting is numbered and titled for ease of reference. I have also added their measurements and a brief description.
I feel that this way my paintings will find a home where they will be appreciated and treasured, and by way of a fair exchange. I do have some more paintings to add over the coming days so please check back and look!
